Details
- Comes with 10 colour variations which can be set on the Theme Variables tab.
- The theme uses it’s own theme logo by default but if you have your own logo image, upload it to the _templates/boast/assets directory that was auto-created when you installed the theme and enter it’s name on the Theme Variables tab. If this field is left blank the theme will display a styled text version of the site name and site slogan that you entered in the “Preferences/Basic” tab.
- You can specify the sections displayed in the main navigation and their order on the Theme Variables tab.
- You can switch the display of the slider on or off on the Theme Variables tab.
- Both the “slider” and the front-page
article_list will display articles “allowed” on the front-page via the section settings.
- “Slider” articles are specified with a
custom_field.
- You can set the quantity of articles displayed by the slider on the Theme Variables tab.
- You can set the height of the slider on the Theme Variables tab.
- You can set the slider to static or automatic on the Theme Variables tab.
- If you have the slider set up for automatic operation, when a visitor uses one of the side navigation links automatic operation is stopped, however you can set the time elapsed before automatic operation restarts on the Theme Variables tab.

- The speed of the fade transition can be set on the new Theme Variables tab.
- The front-page
article_list title and button link can be set on the Theme Variables tab.

- The display of the contact form on the “Contact” page can be switched on or off on the Theme Variables tab.
- The contact form email address is entered on the Theme Variables tab. If you have set the above field to display the contact form but haven’t entered a valid email address the form will not be displayed as it is pointless to do so. An “info box” will be displayed instead telling you to get the job done properly.
- By default the theme will use the standard textpattern feed tags however if you have a Feedburner account you can enter it’s name on the Theme Variables tab and feed links will point to that instead. This setting is also used for the “Feedburner Subscription” widget.
- Gallery forms are included for use in the “gallery” section. No plugin or thumbnails required. In fact no thumbnails are required anywhere.
- All widgets can be displayed in the “horizontal sidebar” or the “extended footer” or both with the exception of the Twitter widget which can only be displayed once on a page.
- You can set which widgets are to be displayed in the “horizontal sidebar” and the “extended footer” on the Widgets tab.
- You can control various aspects of individual widget display on the Widgets tab.
- Widgets are included for Twitter, Flickr, image advert, Google advert, archive menu, author (individual_article view only), blogroll, tag cloud, recent posts, recent comments, calendar, text (x2), category listing and Feedburner subscription.
